The Hide Thursday 23-12-21

It’s a bonus day today , my to-do list all ticked off so I’m rewarding myself with another day at the Meadow Hide. And I’m not that bothered that it’s really misty here with intermittent drizzly rain , it’s warm for this time of year , 8 c and very little wind so it actually feels rather pleasant here in the hide . Mind you I still have the blanket out , wrapped around me and a flask of rather lovely hot veggie soup to keep me warm !

With the feeders topped up it’s action stations. Today’s visitors to the hide include Long tailed tits . It’s good to see these colourful small birds back and today in large numbers. It’s the second time this week they have been spotted here at the hide and I think we had at least ten individuals feasting on…
